Lenders are going belly up because they lend to people who have no down payment money, they dont make sufficient money to pay for the mortgage, and they are the root of the forclosure problem. Now minorities and disabled individuals are claiming they are being discriminated because a lender wont approve them for a loan. WOW! Blame the lenders because they give to many people loans and then blame them for actually turning some down. Every President since Reagan has pressed for "homeownership," "The American Dream," Create Wealth" so the lenders created loans for people that would not, and should not have qualified for mortgage loans. Remember this folks, the banks dont care what color you are, or the size of your wheal chair, they only care about the benjamins!. If they turned you down it is because your credit and your risk was to great even for the bottom feeding lenders! Ok let me get this straight.
